My styling

I finally got a small break! I was contacted by a photographer last week who asked me to style a photo shoot for him, the best thing was he wanted ME! We met and spoke about ideas, clothing, and a story board. 3 looks maybe 4, a desert set. I went to work as soon as I got the call, looks were just flying through my mind. We decided on 3 looks; Denim, texture, and boho. However, this photographer is know for his tasteful nude shots so he made sure that I kept in mind sexy, and some skin. Since most of the looks were quite covered I made sure instead of a pant we did a short or and off the shoulder sweater top that showed her shoulder and collar.

We got to the set(a desert, dooned area in brampton, ontario) at 9am and jumped right into work. Thankfully the weather held-up for us, even though it was supposed to rain. By 11am the area was swarmed with people. The set is a land mark for the area and when we looked around there were at least 100 people walking, playing, taking pictures. This made it very difficult to stay in one place to do the shots, we ended up getting sand all over ourselves.

At the end of the day the pictures that were taken ended up looking fantastic. The model was happy, but most important the photographer was so happy and extremely happy with my work. We started to talk about the next shoot he wants to do and thankfully he wants me to style that shoot for him again!

UNITY is a charity developed for the youth and to teach them different artistic ways to express themselves. The charity guides them away from street violence and towards artistic fields such as: Dance, vocals, poetry, art, etc.





So on Wednesday November 3rd, come out to The Drake hotel and lounge and join us to raise money towards UNITY!

I DIE for Zac Posen! It makes me wanted to be a 6 foot, slender, long legged lady! His designs make every woman feel beautiful, and his shows always seem so romantic. He has his first this morning in Paris, France, for Spring/Summer 2011. Opening it with Karlie Kloss in coral feathers and 2 toned leggings, FANTASTIC! Coco Rocha, drapped in chiffon, and a horse-hair details black jacket.

Oh Canada!

Ah! I cannot even BEING to explain how excited I get when I start to see plaids! Honestly, it must be my inner hetero fighting through....or just my Canadian spirit(i was a cheerleader you know!)!!

Personally I am always one for the classic rich red and black pattern. Nothing says fall is here like men and women dressing a little "woodies". Anyone can pull off a plaid shirt, there is just an easy way to do it and see look cute. I tend to find ladies especially tend to get nervous around plaids as they might look a little masculine, but there is an easy way to "kiss" the outfit to make it sexy. Few pointers ladies.....get a pair of well fitted denim to show of those sexy legs and curves you got! Find a cute pair of "woodies" looking heels[here I found a pair of simple brown lace up, round toed booties], and don't be scared to accessorize!!! Throw in a beaded chain necklace, a wooden bangle, and an over-sized handbag.

Men, I cannot stress enough how SEXY it is to see a well dressed man in a combat boot. With all you casual looks this season throw on a pair of plain black or brown combat boots and hit the streets. A man in a plaid shirt, nice dark denim, and a sexy over the ankle boot says nothing more to me than HOT HOT HOT!!! You will make the girls swoon and the gays go "GAGA"!

With all this plaid it has the retailers sing 'Oh, Canada!'

How many of you DIE for the Fall season? The colourful leaves, the crispy cool air, the apple cider.....THE KNIT SWEATERS, THE MILITARY JACKETS, LEATHER KNEE HIGH BOOTS!!! Well thats what I'm looking forward to next month!

So many amazing lines in all stores! Personally I'm being a HUGE fan of H&M this season! Their new "Back to School" looks are MAJOR! Men's Cardigan with big necks and elbow patch detailing, starting as low as $17.95, such a staple piece when it comes to looking put together with any outfit! Trousers in FANTASTIC colour such as navy, camel, grey, and black, starting at $29.95! Boots and scarves I seeing BURSTING out of the stock bins! Looks like my back to school shopping might get a little out of control!!!

Hello, Good-bye?

So I started talking to my Ex-boyfriend again.....what is it exactly about ex's that make them so hard to forget? Well this one is just that extra hard to forget. So we had a long chat tonight(obvs via msn) about our break up and how we wish we could have changed things. I guess a whole summer without eachother has made us realize how much we miss eachother? hmmm normally with me I get over guys like that *snaps*, guess not in this case.
So I find out tonight that he is actually leaving in 18days to go to CHINA!!!! Not fucking Toronto or Ottawa or even god damn Alberta! Nope, had to choose China, other side of the world. He is going to be an English teacher there, super proud! 6 months isn't all that long, is it? So I have 18...well now 17 days to see him before he goes and then depending on how that goes it could be a sad sad winter for me.
Just when I started to get excited about saying HELLO! I have to say Good-Bye....

Omg! Omg! Omg! I met Coco Rocha! Not only did I meet her but I watched her stomp it out on the runway! Fantastic!

A lovely summer day on Queen street east could only mean a lovely summer day to hold a Fashion event for Cancer. The camera flashes were going, the wine was flowing the conversations never stopped. Meeting with all the fabulous people from 'Fashion Magazine' such as Bernadette Peters the editor in cheif of the magazine!! Honestly the nicest person I have met!

None of this would have been possible without my new lovely and beautiful friend Donna Marie Antoniadis(the co-founder of the marketing group 'She's Connected'). Being introduced to everyone special in the business from fashion to cancer event sponsors and everywhere in between, I met them all!!!

Todd Lynn was the designer of the night and LET ME TELL YA his stuff is....A FASHION-GASM!!! I wanted everything from the horse-hair jackets, to the leather strapped gloves to the fur vests...GIMME! The night was over-all fantastic!

Harsh!

Whats going on with my group of friends right now?! Id really like to know. I dont know if its just us growing up or if something has happened and a few of us have taken our bitch pills but seriously girls!!! There is way too much back stabbing happening lately and harsh words being passed behind backs. We have an annual bbq coming up at the beginning of May, and Im actually so scared they a big fight might happen. I dont want tears or fighting, guys this year its on my bday! I love my girls too much to see us fight. I think we are all just feeling the stress of school, work, other stuff.....lets just take a breath, take a shot, and hug it out! I love my ideas!
Is it the weather maybe? This weather makes me mad too!!!! Hot then cold Hot then rainy! BS!!!! Lets hope that the Bbq brings more joy than anything else....I MEAN IT!! Its always a great time but last year a fight broke out....a chick fight...it was real good, so i grabbed a drink and pulled up a chair and got real close!

You Fucking Kidding Me?!!!!!
I was just broken up with over a text message. WOW! I dont get mad often, but when I do I tend to go ape shit.....Im ready to go ape shit. I know it was only a 3 week relationship but come man its respect. Im more pissed because the asshole beat me to the punch! I wanted to hang out that day so I could break up with HIM not fucking him breaking up with me! UGH! I was really mature about the whole thing, but still pretty pised about the whole text message break up....prick. I just want my shirts back and my $80 bottle of cologne......GIMME!
Text message = highschool...not even grade school. Just so you know if we were in highschool, the front of your house would be covered in egg yolks and T.P.

Simply Irresistible

How is it when you are single you have a certain number of people that are interested in you, BUT when you become "off the market" and in a relationship the number of people wanting you double, triples, goes 4 times as many as before?!!!!
What the fuck! Everytime I get into a relationship its like a facebook message or twitter message goes out to everyone....Liam is off the market step right up and take your chance to see if he is be untrue to his boyfriend. Its crazy because it happens everytime I start dating someone.
Well just letting you know that this time is different. This guy is different. This feeling inside my is very different then the ones before.
I honestly want to know what makes a taken man simply irresistible. Can you tell they arent single from the way they act, walk, talk, present themselves?

What a Fox!

I think I actually met a guy that is perfect for my life right now. Yes, I...Liam...have finally met a guy that I want to be with!! Ive never been so happy. Been on two dates so far and its been amazing! He made dinner for me and his best friend, sister, mom and her boyfriend...it was AMAZING! Sweet and Sour meat balls, made into a stir fry! It was just so tasty, i want it now!! Everything about the day was just perfect. For the moment I walked in the house with him.
We took a shower together and had lunch(which he made), I took a nap because I didnt sleep well the night before. Hung out with his friends for a bit, they are just awesome. Like I said though, the dinner was AMAZING. Everyone was laughing and didnt stop talking the whole time, just a great great atmosphere!! We ended up getting a bit closer after everyone was gone or in bed and i can honestly say.....I have never felt the way I feel for anyone else the way I feel for him.

I never want this feeling to stop.

2010 Blackout

Hooooollllllyyyyy shit!
So an idea pops into my head that on Saturday the girls and I were gonna grab some of our cutest outfits and go for dinner. So the day goes through like a normal saturday......9am hair cut, coffee, shopping, lunch, and them the gym. 7pm rolls around and we all get into my truck and drive to burlington for dinner. The place is packed and honestly I think people cleared out because of how loud myself and my friends are. When we all get together I dont think we stop laughing the whole night. Between crab legs, yummy salads, olives and someone spilling a whole glass of water on another LAP!!! it was a great time! hahaha. Half way through dinner we decide to not come back to my fabulous basement for a movie, but to go out to a friends house for a party and get a little silly. We wrap the dinner up and hit the LCBO and get on the road to st.catherines for a good time. I get my wine knowing that its gonna get me pretty silly....shit! A few drinks in our good friend decides to want to chug the 2.5L of wine and make me do it with him. Almost puking half way through I did it. I....was.....DOOOOONE! At least that night I was able to throw up everything I ate at dinner....felt so skinny after ;)
Was I a mess.....no....was I a hot mess....yes!!!! Dressed to the 9's and hanging over a tub DYING! I felt like shit. Thank god for good friends that dont mind taking care of someone when they are a little sicky from drinking to much. I honestly do not remember most of the night, I feel like I blacked out after the bottle of wine. I dont remember how we got home, how i was asleep on the couch, why my shirt of half unbutton...i guess i got hot, and where my ring and bracelet was!!!! Whatever I was asleep on a couch and I have happy. 10:30 along and we got into the car and finally got to drive home to our OWN houses. I got into my house, into the shower washed up, and got into my bed and passed right out for 8 hours!!!!!!

I will never get drunk off of wine again........hopefully.

A Jackass outta you, A Jackass outta me

Worked today....4 to 10pm. Not the most fun thing in the world, but hey its money and when you work with good people its not all that bad. Didnt have anyone come in today that was all that interesting. After work we decided on going out to grab a bite to eat at a local restaurant that seemed weirdly hopin' for a friday night....lovely ol' JackAstors. The hostest was quite the bitch and you could tell she really did not want to be there that night. After being seated our waitor came and introduced himself, he was quite cute and i felt a bond. Super fast with everything i found that night, never had an empty glass of my bev...im a HUGE fan of that, which makes me leave a pretty fat tip! So now it comes around to the time that we are needing the bill and beautiful Dave(the name i have now decided to give to our waitor) came on over. As he turned the corner of a table to come to us a stupid, immature 19yr old girl decided to be "drunk" and almost fall out of the booth causing Beautiful Dave to trip over her and almost land face first on the ground. He came over and kind of just dropped the bill on our table and left, which made me very upset as he was taking his anger out on us a bit. Needing debit we continued to sit at the table for another 15 minutes or so just waiting for him to come back and see if we were ready or gone. He then finally came back and saw we needed debit and got that sorted out. Listen beautiful dave, remember the last few minutes with a customer can me the difference of a large tip to a small tip for being a jackass. You are lucky im pretty good at tipping.

Night from Hell

Omg! where to start....where to fucking start!!
Deciding to miss the gym and instead workout in your home gym is NOT always the best idea when you have a house full of people. I hate being mid-work out and having my name called to help with a chore. I pay the money to get out of the house to be away from my family for 2 hours....i need to not do this again!
So I shower and decide to take a little nap. What do I get woken up by? My 19 yr old brother playing Xbox 360 with the headset on, SWEARING at people he doesnt even know. This is a bit much. When I see people playing Xbox with that stupid head set it reminds me of the fat guy from 'The Simpson's'.....you know which guy Im talking about? The yellow one....ya thats the one.
Asking him to get off was a bad idea, told me to fuck off and give him an hour, so i did..no big deal. Oh it turned into a HUGE deal. 1 hour later after watching 'law and order - svu'(soooo good), i came down to tell him to get off so i can watch 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta, then Orange County'(another obsession of mine). I was attacked...hit, pushed, literally scrapped by him. To the lady that ever marries my brother...find yourself a VERY good lawyer, i see divorces in his future. This kid doesnt have a job that requires brain skills, he goes twice a week, and has 2 night classes a week. In between this he plays his Xbox. Sometimes I just want to sell it on ebay and make the cash from it.

First Day on the Blog

What a day full of nothing. Sometimes it feels like a waste of time even getting out of bed. Dad gets interview and a big company downtown Toronto and Im back to my old spoiled ways.....Hardly working, going to school, gym, and pretty much just driving my truck wherever the fuck I want to go.
2 months away from my birthday and its all i can think about. Not too sure what i really want to ask for from the folks......would really like to try botox, dad would murder me if he knew i want to start so young. Told them today that i road tripping across canada this summer, didnt get the reaction I expected. They were oddly calm about the whole idea of their first born road tripping for 2 weeks. Hey i really am not complaining if it means i get some of their cash to go and fuck off around Canada.
At this moment i really should be on the date that i was asked to go on. Lets refresh a bit, couple weeks ago a very wealthy man asked me to go on a date with him....i hear money and my eyes glaze over. Im a fuckin' fat kid on cake when it comes to money. All i want is a teacup yorkie, a mercedes in the drive way and a 3.5 mil house, is that so much to ask for? However instead of going on the date I have decided to wait until my best friend is done dinner and to go to the gym.....whatever
